Keep your brown sugar soft and clump-free with a handmade brown sugar keeper. That way you’re not stuck with a chunk of rock-hard brown sugar when you get the urge to bake. Even if the your brown sugar does go hard as a brick, simply follow the directions and the brown sugar keeper will bring your brown sugar back to the original softness and consistency and then keep it nice and soft. • Soak for 20 minutes, pat dry and add it to the container of brown sugar, it will soften the sugar in about 24-48 hours, and keep it moist for up to 3 months. Use again and again. It’s that easy!
• Rinse with clean water only; do not use soap as it could leave a trace taste or scent.
Other uses for this special clay disk:
Moisten other food: dried fruit, cookies, marshmallows.
